Director of Business Development
NYU Hospitals Center comprises Tisch Hospital, Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine, and NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases. We are currently seeking an experienced industry leader to take on the Director-level role for our Strategy, Planning, & Business Development team. In this highly visible role, you will lead a talented team of professionals and manage the activities of the Business Development Department. As Director, you will help plan and direct initiatives of our Strategy & Business Development Department. The primary goals of this department are to: ? support the 3 missions of the academic medical center- Clinical, Research and education ? assist with organization-wide strategic planning; ? formulate business and financial plans to maximize current revenue potential for NYU Langone Medical Center; ? identify and analyze new business opportunities; ? plan and manage the implementation of new business ventures. Your responsibilities will include: ? provide support to SVP, and Sr. Director of Strategy and Business Development ? managing junior staff members on projects ? coordinating and managing project teams to perform analyses of operational and financial performance ? preparing, reviewing, and analyzing information and data relating to current/proposed operations and strategic planning initiatives ? preparing presentations for Sr. Level executives. ? developing project implementation plans ? tracking project results. ? Providing timely updates on project status To qualify you must have an MHA, MHSA or MBA degree along with 6-8 years? project management experience in a business development or consulting role, preferably in a healthcare or research environment.. Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, organizational, people management, project management, customer service, analytical and problem-solving skills are essential to success NYU Medical Center provides its staff with far more than just a place to work.
