The Project Director is responsible for assisting with the coordination and management of client projects.
Position Summary: The Project Director is responsible for assisting with the coordination and management of client projects. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Work with Managing Director to coordinate proposal development process. * Structure and manage the development of a project plan and budget with the Managing Director. * Works with the Managing Director to participate in and contribute to program design. * Manage the sourcing process and with GLRN develop faculty options for the team; work with the Managing Director to identify other potential resources needed for the project. * Communicate with the client on a day to day basis regarding project plan/budget progress, project status and resources. * Coordinate execution of contracts including client services contract, Statements of Work and any other exhibits and Independent Contractor Agreements when necessary. * Track and manage against the project plan and budget. Convey budget changes/revenue projections to accounting. * Coordinate and manage educator and external resources. Continuously convey information from client to educator and other external resources. Coordinate educators to ensure integration of material/content. * Work with Program Manager to ensure successful delivery of program. * Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: * Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and the web. * Ability to work effectively independently as well as in a team. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills. * Organization, coordination and project management skills. * Relates well to all kinds of people inside and outside of the organization; builds appropriate rapport; builds constructive and effective relationships; uses diplomacy and tact. * Is cool under pressure; does not become defensive or irritated when times are tough; is not knocked off balance by the unexpected; does not show frustration when challenged. * Strong attention to detail. * Enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment in which commitment to a common mission and reliance upon and support of other team members is expected and valued. Education and Experience Requirements: * Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred. * A minimum of 3-5 years prior experience, including Project Management experience. * Requires travel within and outside of the United States.
