Career Exposure Reveals Five Memorable Interview Questions
Interview Tips to Help you Stand out and Get the Job

PORTLAND, OR - September 2009 - After the resume is done to perfection, the interview is scheduled and the shoes are shined, job candidates are still not ready to make an impression, according to The Career Exposure Network.

"For every position, there are dozen of candidates that have excellent experience, outstanding references and a great attitude,” said JillXan Donnelly, president of The Career Exposure Network, creator of industry leading Web sites that provide jobs for women, minorities and MBA candidates and the support to help them build successful careers. "What most candidates miss is that crucial, memorable question that will leave a lasting impression and lead to an offer."

According to Donnelly, the questions need to focus on five critical areas: goal setting, awareness of protocol, desire to learn, commitment to excellence and recognition of wisdom. With this, Donnelly suggests the following questions for every candidate:

1) How will I know if I am meeting and exceeding the expectations for this position? This question tells the interviewer that the candidate wants measurable goals.

2) If I have ideas of suggestions, what is the best process to share them? This question tells the interviewer that the candidate doesn’t want to step on toes.

3) Who was your best employee what made him or her so remarkable? This question tells the interviewer that the candidate wants to know the bar.

4) What advice can you give me to be an outstanding employee - in this or any job? This question tells the interviewer that the candidate wants to learn how to work.

5) What is the best advice you were given when you were my age? This question tells the interviewer that the candidate recognizes wisdom.
