Hillcrest Market Place is one of the operations within residential dining at the University of Iowa. We are seeking an Operations Manager, who will lead, plan, organize and manage this multi-station dining operation.  The Operations Manager will be responsible for a staff of 5 professionals, 40 hourly and approximately 300 student employees who serve almost 2 million meals over 45 weeks per year with annual revenue of approximately $8 million.

A Bachelor’s degree in Institutional Management, Nutrition, Dietetics or Hotel Restaurant and Institutional Management or an equivalent degree or an equivalent combination of education and supervisory experience is required as well as a minimum of three (3) years of full time experience in food service management. Salary and Benefits:

  • $58,000 to commensurate.
