["Responsible for the overall management, operation, program development and evaluation of Health Promotion, including: overseeing facility and budget; hiring and supervising professional, clerical, graduate and student assistants including providing support, guidance, leadership and professional development; cultivating goals related to the strategic direction of the department and carrying-out their implementation.", "Direct and implement campus-wide health initiatives and programs using evidence-based practices. Oversee strategies for fostering a healthy campus culture including student engagement in health promotion and prevention efforts. Incorporate multicultural diversity and social justice concepts and principles into health promotion services.", "Provide consultation, direction, and leadership for campus prevention initiatives that focus on the most significant risk factors for University at Buffalo students as determined by campus wide and targeted data collection to benchmark student health measures. Evaluate change in student health measures over time.", "Maintain positive and productive relationships with students, faculty, staff, university departments and community constituents in order to advance the mission, vision, values, and goals of the office, Division of Student Life, and the University. This includes communicating resources, providing data and assessment tools and collaboration opportunities to departments within Student Life and with academic advisors, faculty, and external stakeholders. Participate in committees at the direction of the Senior Director of Student Wellness.", "Provide leadership in compliance with relevant New York State and federal mandates related to prevention education.", "Identify grant opportunities and funding sources for department initiatives and apply for relevant grants at the local, state and or federal level.
