Center Coordinator in Pediatrics

Buffalo, New York ~ June 22, 2020

The Department of Pediatrics, Division of General Pediatrics is looking for a Center Coordinator to assist with the WNY Children’s Environmental Center. This study funded by New York State is examining environmental health issues involving children, schools, health care providers, community coalitions and community based organizations and public health agencies.
The job involves:
• Communicating with the Network Center based at Mt. Sinai and other collaborating centers throughout the state regarding mutual activities and local inputs. Composing and submitting quarterly grant reports and other grant required paperwork. Overseeing grant budget, purchasing and expenses according to required guidelines
• Planning and carrying out grant-related projects in the region to help advance the 5 areas of desired grant activity in the region:
o Education and Training
o Consultation and Guidance to HCPs
o Clinical Evaluation Services
o Public Health Marketing and
o Community Partnerships
o Assisting the Medical Director in performance of grant related activities as needed
